Cryovacced cane toads

It was a bit of bad luck for the cane toads in the opening match of the State of Origin last night with only two tries.  There was a also bit of bad luck for the cane toads at our Rainy Mountain Place abode last night.  However, these ones ended up in plastic bags in the freezer.
The first try
The second try: cryovacced cane toad!

  2. It's concerning there are so many on TI.
I have been disappointed with my score rate at Rainy Mountain Place. I think the word has got around I have it in for these creatures. Or they read my earlier post!
The first one was huge. After it was in the freezer, it still had enough energy to jump from the rack into the door storage compartment (which must have another name and I reckon you'll know it)..

  5. The cane toad is not a declared pest in Qld (or it wasn't at December 2013 according to DAFF Biosecurity Qld). Just learned that. Scary.
Yes, when moving down in January I was surprised to learn I needed to have my boxes of papers and books checked by AQIS/Dept Agriculture. Thought it was only seafood as never had shipped anything off. I don't get that. Can bring anything up, but can't take it down. Except ducks, thank God.
